Freedom: Letting Your Fighter Out

I want peace. We all do.

Lying what’s underneath your soul, there’s a craving for something more. An insignificant sign of hope and realization. Freedom. Adjusting your mind and heart to a small drift, sensing what’s best to be placed in your thoughts. You might not understand what you want, but you can always think.

Thinking is the only thing no one can ever take it away from you. No matter how bad it seems to let it all out, no one has the ability to control what should your private opinions be.

That’s the power of humanity. Having the gift of intelligence. Have you ever thought of something that gives you the real purpose of life? Finding the definition of your dreams and aspirations.

Look how the children get out of their class plunging in their excitement to get home and play. Their faces and expressions made it clear nothing has ever been hard in life. Neither have they understood how hard life has been. And while you’re waiting in the car, these number of children, smiling at you. Their innocence creates such love you’d feel this urge to immediately hug them gently and tell them life would never always be beautiful, but it’s worth a try.

Elderly people walking by the end of the streets, finding the energy to stay strong walking when it was clear they were panting their breaths out. To listen to their stories, to try understand how life suddenly pulls you near to the end of everything. Have you ever stared them in the eyes and wondered how many more years can you keep going to push yourself to the limit. You wonder if you can start becoming extraordinary. Not to please anyone, but simply to feel you’ve made the best out of you.

But there is only a truth underneath behind every struggle to search for an identity. You gotta stop keep satisfying people around you as if nothing more was important than ending your day with satisfaction of yourself. The satisfaction of eternal peace. To have it render yourself with full contentment.

Then again, what’s important is to get a lot of money and a position in the eyes of everyone, right?

Or as if that was true.

If only the world didn’t need a push.

If only we never needed a push to survive.

The definition of working till you die was never your fate. You are free to do what you wish which only –only gives you back of what you need for the world and hereafter. Yes, there are ways to simplify your mind to a differ scope. We all have a fighter in us.

We have this sensational belief that there’s more than what’s seen by the eye. How long do we have to keep following man made rules and terms? How much more time do we have to be the best version of ourselves when we’re busy getting this ‘position’ in the eyes of the society?

We’re all not made to be smart on a particular aspect alone. There are so many things we can possibly do here. We’re youths. A golden year spent for nothing more than getting a degree.
Imagine a life being absolutely free to be whatever you want without peer pressure. What’s greater than pure freedom?

Then again, if only everyone had their respective interests and dreams. Everyone complains how bad their academic life has been.
I’m not free.

When shall I ever even apply all these stuff in life anyway? Lol.

I’m not interested in this, uh no.

Boring boring when shall school end?

If everyone is depending on our school system to fully determine our interests and future, when shall we even satisfy ourselves? No matter how much you complain everything is so wrong and unsuitable for you, try thinking again. You’re the variable. They can’t change your future. What’s wrong is you.

You’re in an arena of fighting two gladiators. You can’t blame what’s meant to happen. You can’t blame the pressure the crowds left you in, you can’t blame how you got in that arena. Even worse, you can’t even argue of your own existence. What you can do is fight back with your own fighting skills.

You’re in a zone where you’re free to do whatever you believe you can do.

It’s not even that hard really. Stop complaining and start living. That’s the only real definition of freedom. Let’s try to go for a more fun mind reality thinking. Start off by knowing your long lost interests. I do admit, your childhood gives a real effect for your future. Wonder yourself what keeps you so interested in keeping your life going.

Love cats? Enjoy drawing? Blogging like myself? Miss playing the piano? Learning science but is interested in law or arts? You’re good in doodling? Learning another language for fun? You like the idea of debating? Care to go for charity programs? Thinking of a way to focus majorly on religion matters? Eager to be a cartoonist, whatever that’s on your head. Simply, imagine one thing that pops on your mind.

Yes, that one over there.

True.

You can’t change what you’ve gone through just to survive in today’s society. It’s normal to grow up being set to study hard, get a degree and a good job with a good salary. Get married and settle down for your kids. Yes, but isn’t there more to what’s running in your mind? You want more. You feel this sense of feeling. Excitement yet fear mashed up into a bowl you can hardly swallow.

The urge to be by the end of a cliff, thinking ‘woah can I make it? Won’t I be ruining my future?’ No one has the capability to control your personal opinions. No one has the power to change what’s going on your head. If it’s good for you, keep going. Try, just once, to jump.

Imagine there’s a beautiful rainbow by the end of the corner, watching your effort to make a change. Jumping requires a few things you should never forget.

I always loved the idea of working hard. The results don’t really matter. Because you’re not only holding the key to your fate. He holds another half of it and all you need to do is work hard and believe in Him. Work until you aren’t able to breathe, work until you can’t find any space to add up the extra load. Work hard until you never feel empty.

Work hard until you won’t regret whatever that’s happening because you’ve tried your best and that’s the simplicity of effortless beauty.

In need to achieve something, you have to work hard to get it. Similar to getting something people feel is simply nothing. Get that something, and once you really start running, keep it that way until the finish line. Everything is simply beginning with a start button. Once you stop half-way, pain and disappointment will always be the company you dread so hard to sleep at night.

Working hard is the first, but again, I did say proving people you can do it wasn’t a priority right? Yeap. But to dignify your status of independence, to let them know you’re able to lead your life just right, you need proof. You need something that’ll automatically make them understand you can simply cross the border of being ‘normal’ by proving you can.

You love to do charity and want to stay devoted to it? Sure, keep your schedule pack. Study hard in school and plan efficiently on how you would manage your program. It’s easy. It’s easy to do something you love and be committed to another responsibility at the same time. No problem.

Similar to other things you take it as a hobby. Work hard and make sure you can reach both balance of what’s need to be done and what you want to feel happy. Interested in business? Make a website and sell them while you’re busy studying for dentistry. Love drawing? Sure, draw and keep it to a firm folder and make it a collection before you can use them for public viewing.

There’s so many things you can do in your life. Especially when you’re just a teenager. Too many things to accomplish. Too many thoughts, too many achievements you’d love to reach. Even to a point, there isn’t a mind stated to be alive if you’ve never felt crazy to do what you love.

In the end, what matters most is ending the day with a smile on your face, feeling satisfied with what you’ve done to get where you are now. To sleep in peace and wake up the other day as excited as the past and for the future to come.

If we’ve ever felt trapped to all this pressure to be accepted by the society, nestle your heart with purity and faith, that you’ll always get what you want it you keep believing, work hard for it and proof the society wrong. To a point, you smile.

Smile because you’re trying so hard to think whose expectation you’re actually drifting yourself too, but you can’t seem to know.

The only expectation you’re considering as top priority is yourself.

Then again, if education pressure never really existed, and parents would simply allow you to be whoever you want, to get your freedom just like that, can you be the best version of yourself?

That’s the reason why people need to have their respective dreams and aspirations. They also need to keep their freedom to another stage of understanding the real purpose of life. If everyone fights for something that will benefit both in this world and hereafter, then survival will never be a big matter.

Then again, what’s the real definition of freedom?

Having the guts to let out that little fighter in you for the sake of reality.
