It is no doubt, we are living in a world where the mentality
of people nowadays are full with hatred and jealousy of those who manage to
struggle and find the happiness they should earn. Too much people judging and
persuading people to hate the person just because they have something that may
never be earned by anyone else.
You know, like that typical way of when a person tends to
hate another’s speciality just because the person doesn’t feel ‘special enough’.
That satisfied feeling when you’ve scored low in examinations and would love
others to score similar to you for example. Is that a good thing to hope to
people’s luck and faith?
No, it’s not.
Not having something others have doesn’t mean you should
plant negativity and hatred nestled in your beautiful hearts.
Don’t follow the lane of the devils who only hope the worst
for us humans just because they’ve doomed themselves for their acts. What act? From
humankind was created and given the privilege to be bowed upon from all His
previous creations. Angels who were truly faithful bowed and followed what is
told, except the Iblees.
[Allah] said, “What
prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?”[Satan] said, “I am better
than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay.”  12:Al-A’raaf
Due to the Satans arrogance, in an instant they were told to
descend from Paradise and be banished in Hell.
What’s the matter of their decision to not bow to humankind
and their first refusal to follow His command? It’s interesting really to know.
It has already been explained due to their high standards of
being made from fire (known to be more powerful and dominant compared to soil).
Soils are just basically something we step on and is considered as the lowest
level of creation –as thought by the Iblees. So why would they even show
respect to this newly made creation? They see no point.
In reality, even to put it into a logical explaination, soil
isn’t a sign of insult. It’s the basis of what had been used as a medium to
grow and produce other specific complex living organisms on Earth.
If it was true, God has indeed made this planet for our
humanity to survive, shouldn’t it be made similar to us ourselves too? Soil and
soil. Get the point?
A reason why we should always be thankful for the being who
we are today. Especially if you understand the connection of innocence and
truth behind every situations regarding to the creation of mankind.
Back to the Syatan’s arrogance, what has actually been
another reason why they refuse to bow to Adam A.S?
Bringing to a perception that Iblees are the worst creations
made, it’s not true. In fact, before mankind was even created they were so
loyal and truthful to our Creator never once did they disobey Him. So why is
it?
Unwilling to back down their ego.
It actually applies to ourselves as natural beings. It’s
normal to go through it at least at some point of your life –where you just can’t
seem to lower down your ego for something that seems lower than your
expectations.
Having to accept the fact younger and new officers were
being upgraded to a first class department when you’ve spent 10 years
contributing loyally to the same department without getting an appreciation
from the company. It’s unfair right? To be so committed to a task or order from
the manager of the company to only then receive orders from people who are
newly hired and young –yes, especially younger than you.
That’s when your heart aches for disapproval cause’ you’ve
done your best –or if you thought so- but another new fresh person gets your
prize. Now you’re seemingly think you deserved the prize for your commitment,
but you’re wrong.
They say, quality over quantity. What’s best will be the
best. Allah made it clear humankind will do a better job to take care of
humanity and the Earth itself –even Angels doubted it at first. But again, it’s
either a matter of being tested and acknowledged. Wallahualam, He knows everything
and we shouldn’t deny it.
Sometimes we should try to ponder to ourselves, to not be condemned
with the idea of God’s faith upon us. Efforts doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll
get what you wish. It may be bad for you, therefore it has be prevented. It may
be best for you, therefore it will be bestowed to you even before you realize
it does provide you a double benefit compared to what you might think what’s
best.
Life is unpredictable is it? That’s another thing Allah
makes it exciting. To wonder, to work hard and to leave it all to Him in the
end. Stick to Him and He’ll guide you, no doubt.
Back to the Iblees, they couldn’t accept the fact Allah
chose humankind to be the uppermost creation He has made. They thought their
efforts of worshipping Him were the best and thought they were the only
candidates best to be qualified to even be bowed down upon other creations of
His.
They were so arrogant they would do anything to stand with
their ego. Nothing could make them respect humankind. Up to a level they
accepted the fact to be banished in Hell.
They understand and accept the reality whether Allah is the
only God and their Creator but due to this factor, this feeling of wanting to
be the best exceedingly, filling the heart with such jealousy with humankind
for being ‘special’, ego was the reason to their own doom.
They didn’t stop there, they wanted to see the humankind
going through the same level as they are. If they’re confirmed to be thrown in
the fires, why not persuade and drag humankind too? That’ll be more worth it to
them.
[Satan] said, “Because
you have put me into error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight
path. Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on
their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to
You]  -16,17 :Al-A’raaf
Knowing what is said to be their future elsewhere from
Paradise, a motivation of wanting to drag as much as humans with them to be
banished and suffer is the reason till today, enemies will be enemies. The more
the better.
To that extent, it’s somewhat a fate they’ve created
themselves into and would do anything to make sure humankind –the created they
consider to be ‘lower standard’ should be involved as well.
Look at who we are today, should we feel uneasy of others?
Do we realize that we’re actually bringing our character closer to the extent
of being as almost as similar to the Iblees themselves? Occurrence will be
different, but the mentality will be the same. Don’t lead your life and mind to
be deluded with the thought of wanting to see others in bad luck.
Wanting to see others in bad luck just because you can’t
love yourself as much yet. Stop judging people, talking bad about people,
saying such stuff that could lead to negativity and a corruption to your soul.
Pray for the best, lower down your ego, understand to every
faith being brought by our Lord and do not bring yourself forward on hoping the
worst for those you made you feel low just because you wouldn’t appreciate
yourself.
It's sad to be seeing so many Muslims showing hatred be it on social medias or publicly just because they are jealous for what others have attained and deserved to get.
You don’t need to draw yourselves closer with the attempt of
the Iblees to feel grateful on knowing humankind will too, be dragged into
Hell with them on the day of resurrection. May Allah protect us from the gates
of Hell.
Remember, we all at some point have a beautiful heart.
to him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. and those near him are not prevented by arrogance from his worship, nor do they tire.[21:19] they exalt [him] night and day [and] do not slacken. [21:20]
