:)

That evening the sisters were talking about how great the impact was to be giving a dua' for the sake of yourself and others. But only, if you believe in God's willingness to fulfill your needs -by in such ways either be delayed or straightly given on the spot.

When they offered the foods for her, something struck her all the sudden in plain sight. She remembered the last time someone offered her foods during Iftar.

She remembered how happy she was with her friend knowing that tomorrow it'll be over and they'd be home for Eid. The hall compound was filled with students and parents breaking fast. the night wavered with contentment and serenity filling the aura of joy for those who will be back home that night either after or before tarawih.

She lived 300 miles away, what could be expected is to be back by tomorrow so she had friends to break fast with. His friend who was also in charge of the catering saw her and quickly removed half of the rice from the plate -as if he knew she ate little.

She remembered how his face beamed with delight when she said thank you to him for the servings and how his response was somewhat nervous and pleased. It wasn't much, she didn't knew, but somehow she felt him reacting in a way she couldn't understand. it wasn't much, but to think of it now, it is more than enough to get the whole picture.

She never thinks of the past. To her some happiness that is no longer a presence in the future should be hold behind and new experiences should be attained. she laughed at first but quietly stared outside facing the palm trees of the Islamic Center, thinking one thing.

It's funny and strange how this specific memory was triggered without her knowing.

little did she, perhaps him too, knew, it had been a year since that happened.
