I've got so many topics to write down (till I'd write on my addmaths book everytime the idea comes out). Hmm, so I thought it would be better to give some ways for my dearest juniors to face the challenge next year -especially for the F4's this year since someone is concerned about it.
1. Find somewhere you're sure to focus while getting your brains out
If you're easily bothered with an unproductive environment, find the best place in the school you'd probably know. If the place is breathtaking, bring some friends. otherwise you'd daydream just about anything until its enough to let you imagine your future within 10 years time. seriously.
2. Learn to stop hating and love more, even to your juniors.
The sticky notes, the prayers, the wishes people contribute to you are important.
It's not about collecting the things they gave you, it's about how much you appreciate them by working harder. Some say I'm their inspiration, but they never knew they've been my motivation all along.
3. Do crazy innocent things.
Stop believing that going crazy-boastful-huhaa's are gonna make you feel better for forever. It'll last for that current moment only then your depression overwhelms you again.
Every Friday morning (when they don't have jogging programs) go have a walk with your pyjamas on, run through the field during sunrise, lay on the tennis court with the speakers on, or even better, go star gazing in the middle of the field in the darkness. I swear we saw a shooting star.
I'm saying this cause I wouldn't get the chance to do it again. x)
4. Avoid heartbreaks
It's never wrong to have partners, but well, I'm sure you'd know how love take hostages. It gets inside you, eats you and leaves you crying even a phase turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. Not just in the imagination and mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-ripping-you-apart pain.
It's either academic success or unpredictable love. You chose.
5. Love your teachers unconditionally.
Hate the subject? Love the teacher more. Go ask em questions in the staff room even if your friends could help you solve the problem anyway. Let them recognize your face, call you by your nicknames.
The best feeling is being treated extra sweet by your teachers, yeah, even if you've got a D for addmaths.
6. Go on, eat as much as you want.
(just a display)
I've been to so many Mrsms last year and trust me, our food is the best. To be honest I'd feel like dragging people to the floor whenever they say the food was bad or etc. When you study hard, you get completely hungry. It's just the mind control act, not scientifically true, but if it takes you to reduce stress, go on, enjoy.
7. Love your trusted friends, always.
Why be well-known by everyone rather than have faithful friends? Now, that's what we prefer as 'fake friends'. You have a crush on someone or unable to handle your emotions pun you'd find them anyway.
Make sure you guys always have each other on every condition.
8. Forget those who drags you down
I don't know about you but if I know someone hates me, I kinda have the guts to make them hate me more by doing the things I do the best. Love to see their gestures. Haha. Really motivates me.
As long as you're not doing harsh things that is.
9. Lastly, keep yourself humble to God.
There's nothing better than to wake up in the middle of the night and pray to Him. If you can't go accomplish shalat hajat after prep by 11.05 pm.
Be lucky to still have the chance to watch religious videos and talks. You're still under care, but, when you're school over, there'd be no way you'd find such an environment as this.
oh god, it's been a few days but I miss my school days already :(
