Feng Yi and Fu Wa

Hey there!

Don't laugh, but though it's been a year since the pandas came to the national zoo, and yet I've gone back and forth from my house to the highway using the road to the zoo, yesterday was the first time I went to see the pandas. Finally.

People whom I've approached would ask where I'm from. They're like,

"You mean you live behind the zoo?"
"Hahaha you're from kemensah and this is the first time you watch the pandas?"
"Kemensah? That's near! I came far from Shah Alam"
"Pffft. That's funny"

Well, the last time I went there with my green lantern mates was last year for a CSR program. Yet I swear, the national zoo today is SO MUCH beautiful than when we came. I was like, within a year the whole zoo fully transformed. It's much better than last year I tell you. Thank this when the pandas came. No way they were going to have an increase of visitors for the pandas when the other sections look like a mess.

Before we could really watch em live, a facilitator shows us a 10-minute video regarding to the animals. Plus, he had to explain the conditions and rules we're told to follow in both english and malaysian language to the crowd. Both languages. Oh I'd love to volunteer on becoming a facilitator, but not sure if the zoo would allow volunteers on the pandas management.

Everyone walks in. Everyone has their very own first expression on something doesn't matter person. animals or even objects. Similar to this, I was searching for what kind of expression I'd label on the pandas. Playful? Lazy? Intelligent? Piranha?

YOU'RE SLEEPING?
Fu Wa, the female panda.
That was her first sleeping pose, below is her second.

I have no idea how much she can change her postures as much as this and still stay asleep.
Thankfully you're an adorable one fella haha.

Everyone looked at her then paused for the last glance before searching for Feng Yi, the male panda.

And guess how he was doing?

HE'S SLEEPING AS WELL.
That's his first pose, below was his second.

Hahaha I can't stop laughing looking at him.
I mean, he could fall down from that high place of his anytime.

I talked to the two facilitators who were on guard, they said these pandas sleep during the afternoons. They play through out the whole morning, sleep then play again during the evening after their luxurious food preparations -apples, carrots, bamboo cakes and blended bamboo. Up to 18-20 kg of bamboos per day.

So, for those who would like to see the pandas. Surely come during the mornings or evenings. Haha I don't even know what kind of impression I have for them. Typical Pandas. x)
