Salam,
Ever became a victim of stage fright before? It really isn't a question actually, cause everyone does, face it. Formally it is defined as the feeling of anxiety, fear or persistent phobia which may be aroused in an individual by the requirement to perform in front of an audience. OMG
Nervous + Negative Thinking = Fear          Fear + Stage + Audience = Stage Fright
Imagine you're about to face a crowd, having to give a speech about something you're not interested. Bear in mind this will be your first time ever to really -get on that stage, like, ever. All eyes on you, great. You're starting to sweat, or turn cold perhaps and have butterflies in your stomach. Of course, you're on your own that moment, nobody could stop whatever that's going on in your nervous systems. Just imagine what happened after that.....you walk on the stage.....yeah,hold on the mike....okay Stop! Now, pause and continue reading.
For me in real life, it is known as the killing moment.
Haha believe me, when I was forced to become an MC during the roll call in college a few years ago, I was so scared I hid my face behind the nearest wall from the beginning till the end. Relatively hands shaking, the boys in front wouldn't stop laughing which annoyed me a lot. But now everything went out to be different. Nervous, scared, all gone. And most importantly, not only no one laughed anymore, but I had their full attention. whenever I threw out questions, they're like "Me!", "Here!" "I want!". And since that moment, I started to rewind what were the things I've done to overcome this fear. Who knows, maybe it'll work on you as well :D
1.   Arrive Early - it's easier for you to prepare yourself that is by calming down and whatsoever. If you ever have the chance to stand at the spot where you'll be having your speech, then go for it.This might lessen your nervousness.
2.  Look At Yourself on The Mirror- Trust me, once you think you look great, you're confidence is high enough to go on stage without bothering people would judge you by appearance.
3.  Always Keep the Topic in Your Head- No matter how long is your turn to give a speech, you have to forget everything and focus on what you'll say. You wouldn't want the "OMG what was I suppose to say?" happen just because you were thinking of something else won't you? total embarrassment there~
4.   Have Someone to Support- This will instantly make you feel more secure and ought to at least think there's a person will support you even if your speech wasn't going on well.
5.  Keep Your Head High- It really makes people automatically think you as well prepared and changes your confidence to a higher level.
6.  Try to be Informal if You Can- Most people hate formal speeches, so it's best if you avoid it (but based on the topic of course). If you dare, try making a joke that would sure make people laugh.
7.  Talk Like the Way You Always Do- Be yourself! By this people would know you're not pretending and all. This also encourages you to speak more fluent even though you have
not conquered the topic.
not conquered the topic.
8.  Pray, of Course- Without God's willing, none of your speeches would turn out well even if you've practiced a million times.
Now there you have it, I applied all of these 8 steps and no more stage fright! But if you're still not used to it, that means you need a lot of practice. how? Like, when you're presenting something in front of your class.
"the more you expose yourself in front of many people, you'll be saying goodbye to stage fright any   time now"
