Hey there!
So I’ll be demonstrating on how to scan a picture (or any
documents –which is also based on the following steps) from your printer to
computer.
Since today’s time has been much need of these aspects –from
university applications to wanting to preserve the pictures from an album to
restore USBs.
Step 1: Pick out the
Picture Intended to Scan.
Man I wish I knew
where that kangaroo is now. Laugh out loud.
Step 2: Turn On Your
Printer for Standby.
I’m using Canon Pixma Printer. It’s completely easy to
follow the instructions on both printing and scanning. But if you’re using a
differ one, never bother just make sure it’s on.
Step 3: Connect Your
Printer with Your Computer.
Very important to remind that all your efforts won’t work if
you forget to connect both devices together. Compulsory.
Step 4: Click Start
on your Computer > Windows Fax and
Scan.
Note that I am using Windows 7. If it doesn’t appear, feel
free to type it on the search link below. It doesn’t have to be ‘Windows Fax
and Scan’ on your computer.
You can also click on Start
> All Programs > Accessories > Scanner and Camera Wizard.
Depends on your computer.
Step 5: Click on New
Scan via Windows Fax and Scan.
Step 6: Open the
Printer Lid and Locate the Picture
Backside.
Always put the picture at the edge of the printer scanning
screen cause you wouldn’t want it to have black or outlines at the picture that’ll
soon be shown on your deskop.
There’s a pointer arrow on the corner for references.
Step 7: Observe Profile
and Adjust to Photo (Default).
Step 8: Observe Colour
Format and choose Colour.
Unless you intend to have your picture on a scale of grey or
blackish colour.
Step 9: Click on Scan
and Wait for Several Seconds.
Once it reloads and starts scanning, your picture will
appear like below.
You don’t need to click on save or anything. It’ll
automatically be saved on your computer.
Step 10: Click Documents
> Scanned Files > Picture.
Click on rotations in case it’s wrongly positioned. So they
you have it!
